Family Selection

Drafts selection criteria and application forms, screens applications, interviews applicants and recommends prospective partner families to Board of Directors
Meets 2nd Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.. Call 221-0126

Site Selection
Targets community areas where projects can be developed, determines availability of property and recommends property for acquisition. Meets 1st Monday at 6:00 p.m. Call 221-0126

Family Partner
Provides Habitat homeowners and prospective homeowners with a mutual support system, educational opportunities and a forum for discussion pertaining to home ownership and maintenance. Meets 4th Wednesday. Call 221-0126

Building
Plans and implements construction projects, develops house plans, solicits professional help and donations of building materials; also supervises construction of houses. Meets 1st Monday at 7:30 call 221-0126

Public Relations/Fund Raising
Involves public specking, news and media contacts, publicity and newsletter preparation. Coordinates securing funds needed to conduct the business of HFHDC & purchasing materials via fund raising campaigns, events, grants & soliciting major donors. Meets 2nd Tuesday at 7:30 call 221-0126

Church Relations
Seeks churches, synagogues and other congregations to become partners with Habitat. Organizes support with building and fundraising projects.
Meets 3rd Wednesday Call 221-0126

Campus Chapters
Develops links between HFHDC and local colleges, high schools and youth groups. Coordinates the development of local Campus Chapters. call 221-0126
